Unshaven
Unshaven Hair Transplant

Hair follicles are taken from the back area of the scalp through micro motors. This device allows us to extract hair without shaving. Only FUE technique is used for this method in our clinic.
There are various limitations on the implementation of both of these techniques. Particularly, there are certain criteria for suitability for this type of hair transplantation.

Depending on the condition of the patient, a maximum of 1000 - 2800 grafts can be planned for unshaven hair transplantation. If a patient has a serious sense of hair loss and therefore a hair transplant operation of 3,000 to 4,000 grafts is needed, it is not possible to plant hair without shaving.

Unshaven Hair Transplant Advantages
The hair is not shaved in any way. It is nearly impossible to tell when one has undergone unshaven hair transplantation. The donor area is completely covered with the other hair. Since very few hair follicles will be added in the operation, the healing process is much faster than other transplant methods. Unshaven Hair Transplant is best suited for people who have hair shorter than 6-7 cm and who cannot afford having day offs from work, social life etc...

EXAMINATION BEFORE
THE HAIR TRANSPLANT

Anyone can be a candidate for hair transplantation. Factors such as gender, skin color, or hair type do not affect your candidacy, though they can affect the relative degree of success in results. For example, patients with thick and wavy hair will get a more dense look after the hair transplant procedure relative to those with thin and straight hair. We consider donor volume of 60-100 FU/cm2 as an excellent candidate and patients with 40 FU/cm2 or below donor volume as a promising candidate. During the physical exam consultation, our medical team analyzes your hair type (straight, wavy, or curly), hair thickness (thick or thin) and the donor area with densitometer (FU/cm2). Additionally, we run tests to identify the baldness level (Norwood for men, Ludwig for women). Dermatoscopy is used by our medical team to foresee the future of the hair loss.
