EYEBROW TRANSPLANT

Eyebrow transplantation is a procedure applied for the permanent recovery of eyebrow hair in patients who have missing eyebrows, lost their eyebrows due to trauma (scars, plucking, chemotherapy) or who want to thicken and improve the appearance of their eyebrows. The healing process is extremely fast but requires high precision, skill and experience.

In the process performed with the FUE method, hair follicles are taken from the donor area. The hair follicles taken are transferred to the eyebrow area. Although the FUE method is the most widely used hair transplant method today, it is also the most suitable transplant method for eyebrow transplant. Hair follicles suitable for your eyebrows can be easily selected and removed from the donor area. In order for the eyebrow to look natural, it is vital that the planting process is done at the right angles and density. The procedure performed under local anesthesia can take between 2-4 hours.

EYEBROW TRANSPLANT HEALING PROCESS

Pain and mild crusting may occur around the procedure area, but these symptoms disappear within a week. The patient can return to his daily life within 48 hours after the procedure. The transplanted eyebrows begin to fall out between 3-5 weeks. This is completely normal and should not be a cause for concern. Eyebrows will start to grow again about 2 months after the procedure and visible eyebrow growth is observed in 4-6 months after the procedure.

WHO IS SUITABLE FOR EYEBROW TRANSPLANT?

In general, patients who want to restore or thicken their eyebrows are suitable for eyebrow transplantation, but patients should be in good general health to minimize the risk of complications.
